Global Organic Textile Standard universal leader in the definition of textile processing standard for organic fibers, including environmental and social parameters; It is a global standard for the achievement of a complete product. This certification guarantees the biological origin of the raw materials and the lower possible environmental impact throughout the entire textile chain.

Organic Content Standard traces the organic fiber flow in the entire textile chain to allow a corresponding assertion of organic fiber in the final textile product without the addition of environmental and social criteria in transformation. Cotonificio Olcese Ferrari chooses to get certified by both OCS and GOTS standards to satisfy and meet customers needs.

The FSC ® mark (Forest Stewardship Council®) certifies that the cellulose viscose of forest origin used to manufacture the product comes from a properly managed forests according to strict environmental, social and economic standards. The forests of origin has been independently checked and evaluated in accordance with the principles and criteria for forest management established and approved by the Forest Stewardship Council ®.

Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certifies products obtained from recycled materials and manufacturing activities. Enhance the products made with recycled materials, in compliance with environmental and social criteria extended to all stages of the production chain. Textile Exchange, one of the most important non-profit organizations that promote responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector at an international level, promotes the Global Recycle Standard (GRS). With this standard, Textile Exchange recognizes the fundamental importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model; aims to encourage the reduction of resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and to increase the quality of recycled products.

Better Cotton Initiative wants to improve the world's cotton production starting from their manufacturers, developing the environment in which it develops and the future of the industry. BCI aims to transform the worldwide cotton production using Better Cotton as the main sustainable cotton. Cotonificio Olcese Ferrari has joined the BCI as Registered Member. This registered membership is meant for active participants in the Better Cotton supply chain, getting formal recognition and approval by BCI for the active role played in promoting the BCI theme and its future.

In line with the philosophy of the Italian manufacturing promotion, HSG took over the business branch Cotonificio Roberto Ferrari; in partnership with other companies, the Company has designed, led and realised the Woolitaly mark, with the main purpose of enhancing the raw materials of Italian origin and the Italian wool. In response to an accurate research on the national territory, it has been identified the "Sardinian wool“, which accurately developed in the productive cycle, is an employable wool type in the fashion field.
